The Good:
- I had my procedure done privately and my room was clean and comfortable.
- The nurse who helped me was wonderful, very kind, caring and knowledgeable.
The Bad:
- My physiotherapist saw me briefly before to give me some DVT stocking and that was it. Later I was billed for 3x 15min sessions of physiotherapy. When I queried this with the Physiotherapy Manager I was told that the Physiotherapist had given me some literature of exercises and instructions to follow after surgery. When I said I was not given any literature, I was told that I must have forgotten this because of the anesthetic and that I probably left the literature in my room. Thankfully my wife was with me the entire time and confirmed that at no point did I receive this literature. Later they reduced the fee slightly by 1 x 15min session.
Summary: Check your bill and ensure you're been charged correctly.
