Absolute joke of a medical practise

Having recently had surgery and in need of medication I tried to contact my surgery

26 phone calls later someone finally answered only to be told there were no telephone consultations for today and could have one on 3rd of july or a face to face appointment on 4th of july today is the 25th of June 🖒

Absolutely brilliant

So helpful and reliable ........said no one ever

Dear Patient,

Please accept our apology for the way you feel you have been dealt with. In order for us to investigate your complaint we would appreciate if you could contact the surgery and request to speak to the Practice Manager or the Assistant Practice Manager, if they are not available at that time, please leave a message with one of the Receptionists and they will get back to you, alternatively you can email the practice at ashtongpservice@nhs.net. Patients can also register for Online Access, which enables them to book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view parts of their medical records via an online app.

We are aware that patients struggle to get through on the phone lines especially at peak times. Please be assured that this matter is being looked into with a view to changing the phone systems.

The Practice works hard to give a high quality service to all patients, we appreciate your feedback and we will use this feedback to help us improve the service we provide to all patients in order to give them a better experience.
