"Fusion of right thumb"

Arrival for 7am went smoothly.

Various checks carried out and met my consultant and anesthetist when everything was explained about the procedure. Unfortunately had to wait till 12.45 for procedure.

Staff were very attentive and looked in on me during my wait, also afterwards.

Checks were continually made as to my name dob, what I was having done etc.

Nurse chatted during brachial block and procedure which was very reassuring.

I was asked if I would be happy to have 2 trainees observing which was fine. On returning to the pod I rested and was given drinks and food.

A nurse kindly phoned my friend who was coming to collect me.

I was extremely impressed with how smoothly my visit to the circle went.
