"First Class Service"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

I took my son to the Minor Injuries at Bath Street, Gravesend this afternoon after sustaining a football injury to his thumb.

We were met by an efficient receptionist and after a short wait was seen by the staff nurse.

He was so friendly and put my son at ease.

We then saw the team leader nurse who recommended an x-ray the following day or A&E if urgent.

I have to express my thanks to all the staff on a first class service.

The NHS are often under lots of criticism so I think it's important to give praise when it's due.

Well done to all the staff on Sunday 25th June at 1pm when England were about to kick off!!

Dear Nichola

Many thanks for taking the time to review your experience with your son at Gravesham Minor Injuries Unit yesterday. We are pleased you received a warm welcome and that the friendly staff made your son feel at ease. It is also good that you received sound advice from the team leader. We will pass your kind comments onto the team there, most of whom we are sure would have been delighted with the football result!

Best wishes
