"A and E"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

My mum was brought into a and e, after a fall at home. The paramedics were amazing and the nurse who saw to my mum on arrival. It was a extremely busy night and we were left waiting for quite a few hours in a cubicle. We were informed that my mum would be going onto a ward as soon as there was a bed. At three o’clock in the morning. I received a phone call from my brother, informing me, that my mum was being sent home. We were disgusted, as my mum lives alone and is very vulnerable. How can this of happened to an 81 year old. She was in a distressed state and even though again, the paramedics were brilliant. She should have never in a million years been discharged. How can this be justified. A day or two later, we were told, this is not allowed to have happened, so why did it?.......
