"Thank You from a Battered Mountain Biker"

On Sunday 17 June 2018 I came off my mountain bike and thought I had done something significant to my neck.

From the moment of my arrival at A&E to my discharge, the care I received was professional, efficient and excellent. I was kept informed and was well looked after by a friendly team.

I was even cleaned up and fed!

So thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, Health Case Assistants, Porters, Radiologists and Domestics (who had to clean up the bits of forest that came in with me!) and Admin staff, for your part in my care, it was exceptional.

Fortunately the CT scan came back fine and I was discharged quickly, after being fortified with an egg sandwich, which I didn't expect but was needed!

I am on the mend now, thank you.
