I attended Thanet Pain Management for years but moved to Medway so was transferred to Medway Maritine Hospitals Chronic Pain Management Team. I saw the nurse in February, she looked through my notes and said, "So what do you expect us to do for you" I explain that my pain was now travelling down my spine and getting much worse, tothe point of unbearable. She said she would review all of my notes and speak to the team on the following Tuesday. It is now mid June and I have telephoned 3 times only to be told it is still sitting on her desk. I am not one to give into pain and have worked 2 jobs to support my family for the last 25 years but I am in so much pain now that I am at the end of my tether. I find it hard to sit, stand or lie down for even the smallest amount of time. I am so dissapointed at the lack of care shown by this hospital, I am now going nacktothedoctors to try and be referred back toThanet as the hour journey would be worth the care given there. My advice to anyone is DEFINATELY STAY AWAY FROM MEDWAY PAIN MANAGEMENT TEAM.
"STAY AWAY"
