"At all times the staff were fantastic"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

At 34 weeks and 3 days my baby’s movements changed and reduced. For the next 2 1/2 weeks I was in and out 4 times with reduced movement, the baby was often not performing well on traces and he was showing static growth during scans. We made it to 37 weeks and I was induced, giving birth to my beautiful baby boy.  At all times the staff were fantastic, keeping us up to date with developments and fully involving us in any plans being made.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear R and Cs Mummy,

Congratulations on the birth of your new wee bundle of joy. It is delightful to hear that you had such a positive experience throughout. I am sure the team will really appreciate such lovely feedback.

Thank you for taking time out of this very busy time to share this with us on Care Opinion.

Best wishes to your and your family,

Eunice
