"Scruffy GP"

About: Poverest Medical Centre

Visited the PRU for follow up clinic following professional care at A&E. Received a call from the Poverest centre advising GP wants to arrange for my wife to visit. Arrived early but eventually called into the GP over half an hour late, sat down for the GP to ask "what can I do for you" After explaining that the GP had requested she visit the GP couldn't find details of what my wife was there for. We explained what the cardiology Registrar had decided was the best cause of action moving forward which in part reduced a previously prescribed drug by 50%. The non described GP went on to be rather dismissive of a professional colleague as a "trainee" going on to tell us he/she had been in charge of various departments, what relevance that had to my wife was anyone's guess. The GP sent my wife for blood tests, the results of which have been received at the Poverest centre it seems that it would take at least 5 days for a GP to view these results. Finally every person, male, female, nurse or GP at the centre dress in a professional manner apart from the GP we visited who dressed no better than a vagrant in an old pair of jogging bottoms, hiking boots and lumberjack style top. Not a very confidence giving first impression
