"Nothing but good to say............."

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

I was admitted to Medway ENT on 6 May 2018 following a medical procedure that had gone wrong elsewhere.

I was kept well informed and involved in all decisions that were made about my care which involved removing a large blood clot from my neck.

The surgical team were wonderful and managed to put me (a very anxious patient) at ease.

The after care was second to none.

The nurses were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Everything was done with a smile and a kind word - regardless of how tired they must have been at times.

In fact, almost every member of staff that entered the ward, no matter what they were doing, was pleasant and friendly.

One last thing.

Even the food was good - maybe not perfect but certainly tasty and very edible.

And, if by chance I missed a meal, they had ‘snack packs’ to choose from!

I would not hesitate if I needed to go there again - I just wish it wasn’t so far away from where I live.
