"Total care for Kidney failure"

About: Renal Community Services / Renal Supportive Care Renal Outpatient Clinics Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre

(as a service user),

Having spent 25 years in the forces as a very healthy go anywhere do anything kind of guy, from Parachuting to seeing life at sea and in the air (helicopters). I find that after finishing work and taking up golf I end up with Kidney failure, which has now reached stage 5.

To cut a long story short I am under the care of some very nice and caring Renal professionals out of Ninewells hospital Dundee. My care is administrated by visits to the community Centre Forfar, every two months for discussions on my blood test results and where we are today seeing that I am not having Dialysis.

I find that all the staff that I am in contact with, from Doctors  to the Renal Supportive Care Nurses most helpful and understanding.
