My dad was admitted to MAU 5 weeks ago after a short stay on this ward whilst he was stabilised he was moved onto Hazelwood Ward.
I have nothing but the upmost respect for the nursing team who cared for my 89 year old dad.
The team are completely committed to caring whilst offering dignity and respect to the cared for, there is nothing that is too much trouble for them.
The nursing team have supported me, my daughter and stepmother through a truly distressing time, they have offered a shoulder to cry on, cups of tea and compassion and at times made us all laugh we can not thank them enough.
Keep up the good work guys it’s been a real pleasure, we all feel truly blessed
