What I liked

The care and attention I received whilst an in-patient on Ward 44 was exceptional. All of the staff were very busy but still found time to ensure that I received the very best of care.

Absolute angels!

What could be improved

More staff to give these hard working people a well deserved breathing space

Thank you for your kind comments in respect of the service you experienced on ward 44, Royal Victoria Infirmary. As an organisation we aspire to the highest standards at all times and are delighted to get such feedback. Your comments have been passed onto the ward sister and her staff who will be greatly encouraged by your kind remarks.

With regard to your comment about the staffing levels on the ward. We do recognise that our staff work very hard and are very proud of the quality of care that is provided by staff at all levels. We would like to reassure you that we regularly assess the number of nurses/staff on each ward to ensure that nurses are able to provide the high level of care and we do have arrangements in place to cover unexpected shortages for example due to staff absences.
