"Sexuality"

About: Putnoe Medical Centre Partnership

I’ve found that even though I informed them my sexuality officially in January 2017, so they can give me the appropriate care, most of the Doctors and nurses ignore my sexuality status and always seemed to act in denial about my sexuality.

They are aware that it’s unlikely I will get pregnant (unless I’m unaware 2 lesbians can get each other pregnant).

They have brought up the subject of going on the pill even though they know I don’t have sex with men.

There are loads of stuff they have tried discussing with me that is only relevant to a straight person.

The only time they have sort of acknowledged my sexuality medical needs eg sexual health, was when a locum doctor was monitoring my care needs for 2 and a half months.
