About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

I was seen by one particular doctor after being referred to by my GP I can honestly say it was a waste of my time no tests were conducted apart from what my GP had already ordered instead I was told my pain was "functional" and "psychological" and told to turn to alternative medicine and no real effort was made to diagnose me I feel like the level of care I received was absolutely horrendous there was no honest concern from the gastroenterologist I hope no one has to experience this.

I am really sorry to read of your experience and can only imagine how frustrated and upset that this has left you feeling.

This is not something we would want anyone to experience when using our services.
