What could be improved

We received 2 recorded telephone calls asking us to confirm an appointment due about 1 week later. Basically a very good idea but it did not say what/where the appointment was for and asked for the date of birth.

Personal information should never be given without being absolutely sure to whom. Such information is not relevant to the purpose of the call but stating who the call is from and asking to confirm receipt by giving the post code is a suitable alternative.
