"Prescriptions not dealt with on time"

Made 2 trips to Pharmacy to collect my percription not got it rang doctors twice told first time by the receptionist that it would be there later so called for it a lot later no joy not got it rang doctors again next day only to be told it’s here they have not sent it down so no medication for two days so in future I will order it ten days before I run out to take into account half days when the surgery is closed during the week for training so they can’t sign precipitous on training days what a joke

We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with the service at Leen View Surgery. I would like to invite you to come to see me regarding the problems you had obtaining your prescription. There are many reasons why your prescription might not have been available when you went to collect it and I would like to look further into your problem to enable us to identify why it was unavailable and how we can prevent this in the future. The practice staff do try to ensure prescriptions are issued within 48 hours of being requested and we do apologise if out training afternoon caused you inconvenience.
