"Attended A&E, fracture clinic minor Trauma surgery"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Accident and emergency

After attending A&E with a dog bite Thurs 14th 6pm ish 15th

I was referred to the X-ray dept and a follow on to Clinic 1 fracture clinic, then onto ward 12 in preparation for minor trauma surgery within the operating theatre team.

May I just say that every member of staff in all of the departments were wonderful, very professional, helpful, caring and dealt with me and my needs with the upmost care and dignity.

The hospital was amazingly busy in all the departments I attended and this resulted in fairly long waiting times, however we must remember that minor trauma must give way to major trauma and patients in more need.

The staff with the operating theatre team were amazing, funny, calming, reassuring and a pleasure to meet under a stressful Situation.

Some names I can recall.

One particular staff member in A&E

One particular doctor in operating theatre

One particular staff member in minor trauma

One particular staff member in recovery.

Please pass on my most grateful th@nks
