I must say that the staff in all the departments I had to use (blood test and Cardio-respiratory) pror to the CT scan were very nice, friendly and thorough in doing their job, setting my mind at ease at all stages of the tests etc leading up to the actual scan itself. The scan was carried out with no discomfort to me and all stages before going into "the donut" were explained. All in all it was a pleasant experience. I had previously worked in the NHS at the East Birmingham Hospital in the 1980's in the engineering department, and this was my first experience of being an actual patient. I must also mention CT reception staff for their frienly welcome and very nice polite manner when I booked in. Well done to all your staff and let no one say anything bad about the NHS, it is first class.
