"Children’s allergy services"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Saw our Doctor again today in relation to our little girls possible asthma. I found the Dr very cheerful and friendly which is clearly an important factor when bringing a small child into the hospital. We are very pleased with the discussion and solution we received for going forward with the issue. The Dr was also willing to offer advice for our baby who suffers from the same health problems.

The only negative was to hear that there is only the children’s allergy service and no adult provision. This is most definitely something which would benefit the hospital and patients, particularly in a field where family history seems to have an impact.

Thanks for your feedback and great to hear that you are getting the advice you need from the team. I will of course feedback your comments about the adult. We appreciate all feedback from patients on how we can further improve services for local people.
