"Overall positive experience"

I want to give thanks & praise to the maturnity services at the Royal Oldham. My daughter in law had a difficult labour & ended up having an emergency C section, but the support & advise give by all the staff on the pre-natel & labour ward was brilliant. They were all very caring, gave information on what was happening through every step. Once on the post natal ward, Baby & Mum have had difficulties but again the support & information was excellent. Baby was tongue tied & the swift & professional service from the tongue tied team was fantastic. The procedure was carried out on the ward within an hour of being flagged up. The improvement to baby’s feeding was immediate & hands on support was again given & is invaluable. This is such a busy ward, but all staff including, cleaners, midwives, HCAs & Drs are all lovely & very helpful. What has been a sometimes traumatic, worrying time has finished with a settled baby, a supported confident new Mum & a Dad that has been involved at every stage. Once again my thanks to everyone involved & you do have a service to be proud of
