I attended pre-assessment clinic a few weeks ago and was seen by SN Margaret. Margaret was so lovely, kind, and caring and I felt listened to and completely at ease in her care. 

My Mum is a nurse too and she had spoken of a manager who had impacted upon her career as someone who was nurturing and supportive of her staff - I have since found out that was Margaret - nearly 20 years ago! She’s a treasure, great example of professional compassionate care, thank you!

What wonderful feedback both from your Mum and yourself - thank you so much for sharing this.

We will certainly forward this on to Margaret and I am sure she will be equally delighted to hear what a positive effect her compassion and professionalism has had on people using the service, and on staff members who have worked with her over the years.

People like Margaret and her colleagues here at University Hospital Monklands make it very easy for us to be proud of our staff and the work that they do every day.
