"It's given me the tools to return to living my life"

About: David Anderson Building / Diabetic Outpatients

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes in September 2017.   At the age of 46 my life was suddenly turned on its head and all that mattered was learning to carb count and match insulin.   Socialising, eating out and enjoy physical activing were now my biggest nightmare.

Fortunately, the support of the whole diabetic team at Davidson Anderson Building, ARI has been incredible.

I have just recently completed the Mindfulness Course which has given me the tools to return to living my life.

Dear Feebie

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback regarding the support you have received from the Diabetic Team within the David Anderson Building. I am so glad that they have been able to support you through this difficult time following your new diagnosis of Diabetes in September 2017.

I am pleased that with this support and the completion of the Mindfulness Course you are able to return to living your life again after what must have been a stressful time.

I will share your kind words with the team and wish you well for the future.

Kind regards

Fiona Robertson Chief Nurse
