I found the vascular surgeon today and on previous occasions very abruptl and rude. Not once did he introduce himself. On my first visit he ordered a blood test but made it blatantly obvious he didn’t believe me. My second appointment was delayed because 6 months later my blood test results had not come up from the lab. He put me on Clopidogrel without an explanation. In the meantime I went to see my nurse at GP practice who shown me the letter from him stating my foot and leg looked and felt normal this surgeon never ever felt my leg or foot. He sent me for a scan the nurse told me one pulse is weak. When he told me today blood flow was normal, I asked him about the weak pulse and he said I can live with one pulse in foot. He insinuated that I was not active just because I’m over weight, I garden, run around after grandchildren, work full time and look after my disabled husband the cheek of him. I always knew he didn’t believe me this man is the first person never to shake hands on meeting people. I consider him to be very rude and he had never written to my doctor to explain why I’m on clopidogrel so as blood flow is normal I presume I can stop taking them.
