"Time wasting and very bad surgery"

I am sorry that you feel that you have had a bad experience at the practice I am however somewhat puzzled by you comments.

With regard to our appointment system we have two types of appointment:-

On the Day - these are matters for which you have been triaged by a GP and are called into the practice for a Sit and Wait appointment - in that context you are given and approximate time for your appointment and it is therefore quite usual that you may need to 'sit and wait' to be seen. I am sure you would agree that ringing the practice, being triaged by a clinician and then being seen by a clinician (if necessary) all in a matter of a few hours is unusual in general practice given the pressures put upon it. I am afraid I am unsure of your comments in this context. The title of the clinic "Sit and Wait", indicates the service and is likened to the Hospital A + E service whey you have to wait to be seen.

Routine appointments - these are Triaged by a GP and booked weeks in advance - sometimes these appointments may run late if a clinician has an emergency in the room (such as a heart attack), im sure you would agree that it is more important dealing with the emergency that sticking to the appointment schedule.

I hope your understanding of our service is now clearer.

I am afraid that I cannot comment regarding wasting 17,000 hours as I do not understand it.

I am afraid that your comments about our doctors is not generally reflected by our patients.
