"Non caring and unhelpful behaviour of doctors"

About: Premier Medical Centre

Since I have joined this surgery I am facing problems. Whenever I have any medical issue and I see the doctors they don't take it seriously and each time I have to insist for any treatment. 2 years back I had some medical issue and each time I made request to have test and after each test they told me everything is fine but I was in extreme pain. Then after few appointments when I got frustrated I insisted on consultation and when the hospital did test, the problem caught immediately and then I got treated. I do not have any desire to go to surgery and the way they treat I just avoid to go to surgery and try to bear the pain as much as possible.

I am having extreme joint pains and apart from that my whole right side is in constant pain and I find it extremely difficult to walk or move my arm. I saw my GP and his response was quite shocking. Despite telling him everything my constant pain and that its affecting my daily life and work, his response was that it is normal and nothing serious. I told him that are you waiting for me to be completely disable and then you'll take action.

He stated that if I'm not happy I can go to some other surgery which I find very rude. Instead of helping me he just asked me to leave the surgery. Then I told him inflammation has been found in my test which hospital did and he was not believing me. Then I insisted him to check hospital record and then it has been proved from my blood test that inflammation has been found in my blood. Do I need to fight my case each time to prove that I'm not well. I'm having problems with appointment bookings as well a lot. Lot of time I called and then due to rigid behaviour of the staff, decided not to see the doctor.

Dear reviewer,

I am very sorry to hear that you found our service didn't meet your expectations. I am shocked by your comment as our doctors and staff have worked for us over the past many years and we never had any negative feedback like this before. Clearly you have raised a number of concerns, which we think would be best dealt with in a meeting with myself. I tried to call you to discuss this, but you couldn't be reached. Please contact me, the Practice Manager, to set up a meeting at a mutually convenient time.

Ratish, Practice Manager
