"Why do some patients not receive the treatment..."

Don't usually post on here but ever so slightly cheesed off tonight. Still waiting for my op at Oldham. Consultant told me six weeks ASAP, they told my doctor four weeks ASAP, then nine weeks and today not anytime soon. Why do I have to be local to such an awful NHS Trust. Calls are not recorded I've been told today so patients have no way of proving the amount of lies that are fed them and the new consultant who I was getting has come along, cherry picked his patients and dumped the rest of us under his care. Booking and scheduling, as pleasant as the staff are, tell a totally different story every time you phone. Thought working and paying your taxes would help but it doesn't. Knowing people who work here and who can get you on a list above others seems to be one option available to some but to the rest of us we discarded. Any suggestions as to how to get treatment here would be fun to read.
