"A visit to accident and emergency department"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I visited accident and emergency with a serious matter which I do not feel comfortable to talk about. When I got seen by a member of staff she was awfully rude to me and made me feel very awkward and uncomfortable to speak to her. As a patient and as other patients I am giving my trust to the staff to help me and give me advice to help me regarding my health I felt like this was not dealt with properly. Also when I had my CPG check the curtains were not drawn and the door was open the whole time my appointment was on going I am very frustrated about this as this is patient confidentiality.
