"Room for improvement - a long way to go"

About: Croydon University Hospital

On my first visit to CUH as an inpatient I was very impressed and the staff were amazing.

Unfortunately on my second time as an inpatient it was an extreme mix of how I was treated generally by the staff. (In a different. Ward to first visit.) Some staff were great (same as first experience) however there were a few who were so unkind, uncaring and unpleasant they made me want to cry from frustration and the way they made me feel in general upset me at a time when I was extremely ill and feeling vulnerable. In the circumstances it was unkind and disappointing behaviour. Fortunately there are also some really lovely staff who were able to balance the negative with the positive.
