"Back fracture"

About: Alexandra Hospital

I fractured my back getting out of the shower.I went to A& E where my fracture was diagnosed.

All of the staff I came into contact within A&E were professional polite and understanding.

My treatment and care was on ward 17 . From Matron to the volunteers offering tea and coffee etc the level of care was incredible.

The sisters on the ward and nursing staff were very approachable help kind and caring.

At the beginning of my stay I found it hard to settle in to hospital life but ward 17 has an incredible team.

A massive thank you to all the staff that helped me to the road of recovery.
