About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Respiratory medicine

I have suffered from COPD for nearly 20 years and living with the condition has at times been difficult .

On one appointment for a review I saw one particular doctor who listened to my concerns over my illness and said she would try and help ,My god suddenly I am referred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for reviews and investigations then having scans etc to try and help with my condition .What a transformation in the whole time I have lived with my condition I feel someone has really taken an interest in my condition as well as my other doctor.

Thank you for posting such a wonderful review of one of our Doctor's in Respiratory Medicine. It is lovely to read that she listened to your concerns regarding your COPD and referred you to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for reviews and investigation to try and help with your condition.

Having lived with your condition for nearly 20 years, I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to feel that she really took an interest along with your other doctor and wanted to genuinely help you.

I will make sure that your compliments are shared with the team along with your name so that they can identify exactly who reviewed you so that she is made aware of your kind words personally.

I do hope that since being referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the team there have been able to help further with your condition.
