"Extremely long wait. And very bad service"

About: Homerton University Hospital / Accident and emergency

The waiting time is extremely long due to very limit staff, they claim that It’s busy but they was only one doctor! For the emergency night shift so I was waiting more then 5 hours. Basically the whole night to see the doctor.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience of our A&E.

Patients are triaged and prioritised according to the severity of their injury / illness and we apologise that the on this occasion it meant you had to wait.

Your comment was sent to the A&E team who are always pleased to receive feedback from their patients. You did not tell us the date you visited; going by the date you left your comment on NHS Choices, the Clinical Lead has confirmed there were 6 doctors working on the night shift of 16th/17th June.
