So I feel the need to post having just experienced a couple of days in West Suffolk hospital. What can I say from the moment we arrived to the moment we left every member of the NHS staff from receptionist in a&e, cleaner to surgeon have treated us so well.
It was an unexpected trip but the whole time we were there we were made to feel welcome, comfortable, informed, and cared for. I can’t believe how they are sometimes so undervalued.
My son had his first operation which was extremely stressful but made so much easier by all involved. Even the moment I had left Zak in theatre & was walking the corridors in a bit of a spin a kind porter asked if I was ok & showed me how to get out for fresh air, this showed how they go above & beyond.
Although a very stressful, scary time it was made a little easier.
Message from Zak....thankyou so much for looking after me & making me feel safe & comfortable.
Big up to all NHS staff at west Suffolk you are amazing humans.
