The doctors at the oral department are exceptionally helpful

What could be improved

The consultant was terrible. I had been referred to him as I was been treated for TMJ. He said my pain would go using a mouth guard. Given that I've been using it daily for the last 6 years and my TMJ problem has become much much worse this last year I would think that or he's wrong and it means he's incompetent or he's lying and that's simply worse. My feeling was that it's the latest case, as he made me feel as I was abusing the system for having gone to physiotherapy even though both the oral consultant and my physiotherapist thought I needed it.

I may be wrong but I felt he was trying to show off to the 4 students that there were on the room with him. That by the way I find that not being asked if it's ok to have all those students with you is a bit out of order.

So, I think this consultant should be shown manners and reminded that he's paid to give service to patients and to find out what is wrong with them -not to save on care and diminish them
