"Pharmacy and waiting time for prescription..."

About: Lindley House Health Centre

mot seen my doctor in around 6 weeks and suffer with sleep deprivation, depression and anxiety after a loved one committed suicide. If I get through for an appointment when ringing at 8 the appointments are all gone. Put in for to be sent to my chemist so easier to be picked up and that took 5 weeks to get right. Stopped my meds and started, stopped and started.. not healthy for a woman depressed

Thank you for your comment.

I am very sorry to hear about your bad experience trying to obtain an appointment. Please could you kindly confirm whether you are our registered patient or a patient attending our walk-in-centre service? For our registered patients we offer wide range of appointments - urgent ( on the day) and routine - booked in advance, which can be booked at any time via telephone, face-to-face and on-line. Walk-in-service does not offer appointment booking.

With regards to the pharmacy, this is run by Lloyds; however I would be keen to learn more about the issue you are describing so that I could investigate on your behalf.

Please could you contact me directly on 0161 785 7520 so that I can look into all the issues you raised and deal with any queries you might have.

Thank you very much

Maggie Choras

Health Centre Manager
