I was referred to UCLH A&E this morning with suspected kidney stones. I could barely walk when I got to the hospital. I was seen by the first nurse within five minutes, given pain relief and anti-nausea which was desperately needed at the time and referred for a CT scan within an hour of arriving.
Everything was explained to me at every stage and they went of their way to ensure I was comfortable. Everyone asked how I was, offered me drinks and even lunch which was appreciated.
I could not have asked for better support and care from the team there.
Thank you everyone. Keep up the excellent work!
