"Six Months and waiting for Talking Therapy"

About: Dudley Integrated Health and Care NHS Trust

My Psychiatrist referred me to Talking Therapy in November 2017, mainly due to the sensitivity of the various drugs I had tried. I have chronic anxiety and rarely leave my home, answer the phone and experience panic attacks. I fear violence, and often have rages of anger over the smallest of things. I had my first appointment to discuss my needs in december 2017 and was feeling positive. However, six months later and I have heard no more. The Psychiatrist has states he will follow up but still nothing. It’s so disappointing because I no longer feel I want go down the Talking Therapies Route. What’s the point! My condition has got worse due to the neglect, even just a letter to say we haven’t forgot you would have been nice, but nothing. Bad service and I feel they don’t care about you, or your problems.
