"Poor practice"

About: Cornerways Medical Centre

at cornerways medical centre it is impossible to get an appointment over the last 3 months I have tried to get an appointment for myself explaining to receptionist that I have had D.V,T twice in the past and believed I had another one only to be told that there was no appointments available then I was told to ring 111 or if I really needed to,to go the walk in and yes I did have a blood clot. The next time was to make an appointment for my partner as he had had a sore throat for about 5weeks he was offered a phone consultation after I told the receptionist that it was not good enough she gave him an appointment for that day the doctor told him if his symptoms did not go away to go back in a week the week past he still had a bad throat can I get an appointment NO

Dear Patient

I am very sorry to hear that you have had a less than satisfactory experience. As a practice we aim to provide exceptional patient service and it appears that, in this instance, this has not been provided. I would like to apologise on behalf of the practice and assure you that we take all comments very seriously. I believe it would be beneficial to investigate your case further but, as your post is anonymous, I would appreciate if you contacted me at the surgery to provide further details.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Erika Campbell

Director of Operations
