"My care at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical) Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Admissions Unit One with chest pain, shortness of breath and feeling generally unwell. I cannot praise the staff highly enough and in particular want to thank Nurse Hutchison for her help in having me assessed,  Nurse Robertson for her care and attention and Dr Galloway and Dr McAuley for their prompt diagnosis and treatment.

I was transferred to ward 23 where I remained for 5 nights; again the care was first class and the attention I received from Dr Francis and his team was excellent.

To all nursing and medical staff - I really can't thank you enough for helping put me at ease during a very frightening experience.

Dear GJK74,

Thank you for taking the time to share the experience of your hospital stay on care opinions. I'm really pleased to hear that all the staff helped put you at ease with prompt care and attention throughout this frightening experience.

On behalf of all the staff on ward 23 I hope you're making a good recovery at home following your hospital stay.I will pass your thanks on to Dr Francis and the nursing staff on ward 23 by sharing your story on care opinions with all the staff, who I'm sure will be very proud, when they read your story.
