Bucklands End Lane Surgery's first priority is to our patients who require treatment.

Under the NHS we are not obliged to provide information for patients, at their personal request, who are claiming benefits as this is considered private work.

We however do our best to help patients in need.

All medical information is taken from patient records and therefore is a true account of any problems they have.

This particular letter was not rushed but provided whilst this patient was in the practice having a consultation at her request.

To to assist this patient the letter was updated on the same day and is still in the practice waiting to be collected.

It is very disappointing when staff at the practice do their upmost to help patients with requests outside of their responsibility only then to receive negative comments
