The surgery has never been the greatest but its so much worse since the new system was put in place, on the last attempt to call the surgery i had to call 52 times over a 3 hour period to get through, they dont allow you to pre book apts you have to call on the day to see if the dr can call you back to see if your worthy of an apt, in fact the whole service is directed at anyone who does not work.,...I work and therefore can not spend all day on the phone its ridiculous.

The staff are mainly rude or think they are in fact doctors.

Someone will have to die before this system is proved to be utterly unsuitable

Thank you for your comments. From our in house survey and Friends and Family forms, we have made a few adjustments to our appointment system. In addition to on the day telephone triage, we have increased the amount of pre bookable appointments to give patients greater choice. I am saddened at the comment you made regarding the staff, the receptionists have a very difficult job and are always happy to help. As they are not clinically trained they work within strict guidelines and triage calls to offer the correct clinician to make the best of our resources.
