"Colposcopy and LLETZ"

I’m writing the review to commend the treatment I received during my colposcopy appointment on 06/06/18. I found all of the staff welcoming, friendly, respectful and helpful, from the moment I was greeted by the receptionist, to the doctor and nurses within the unit itself. The doctor who saw me was very informative about my results and explained everything about the procedure: what to expect, risks involved, the instruments used, aftercare, etc. During the procedure, the doctor and both nurses chatted to me, putting me at ease and even held my hand during a difficult stage. Afterwards, I was given full aftercare advice and a cup of tea. Furthermore, I’m well impressed that I was given this appointment within 1 1/2 weeks of my initial results, thus I didn’t have to wait too long for this appointment. Well done to all the staff and reaffirm my faith in the NHS!
