"Emergency admission for severe stomach pain and..."

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex on Sunday 10th June following several hours of stomach pains and vomiting. The Brighton-based crew of paramedics were top class professionals who did everything to make me comfortable, relieve the pain, re-hydrate me and stop the sickness. They reassured me on the way to the hospital and were extremely courteous and efficient in everything that they did. The admissions process at the hospital was quick and efficient. All the necessary tests were carried out promptly by very professional and friendly nurses and the doctor who examined me was also an accomplished practitioner who was able to form a rapid diagnosis and discharge me later that night with symptoms relieved, a prescription for pain relief and a report to my GP.

My sincere thanks to all the excellent professionals who treated me.
