"Television repairwork for Patient satisfaction"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

(as a service user),

Care is also about the mental wellbeing of a patient. With the upcoming world cup lets think about getting the televisions in Collingtree working again for the patients’  enjoyment. You don't have to be reminded every second if the day how unwell you are by the hospital machine noises so why not prioritise patient satisfaction with a small gesture of fixing the televisions?

Thank you

We are sorry to hear the televisions are not working on Collingtree Ward. This is an issue with multiple televisions across the site, and is not specific to Collingtree.

We reported the problem to the supplier of the televisions on the 11th June and have been advised they are awaiting delivery of a part before they can make the repair.

For your information the television service is provided by an outside contractor and not NGH.

We are continuing to chase the company but currently they are unable to tell us when the repair will be made.

Please accept our apologies for the delay.

Kind regards, NGH.
