Don't usually write reviews but feel the need to counter the bad press the NHS often receives. From the prompt arrival of the ambulance service I was treated with respect and good humour. Admitted to casualty with what turned out to be AF. The staff were friendly reassuring and efficient. The staff on CCU, where I was monitored overnight, were excellent. As the medication I received made me feel a lot more comfortable I was able to observe the ''goings on'' in the ward and was full of admiration for the way all patients were dealt with in a caring, compassionate way - and the one's who's expectations were somewhat unrealistic with a gentle sense of humour. An added bonus - although the temperature was high outside the ward was lovely and cool.
Many thanks to all concerned
