(as the patient),

I started taking LDN 2 months ago, I did ask my GP about it for fibromyalgia, she had never heard of it neither had 2 consultant's that I asked. I managed to get it on private prescription from the pharmacy in Glasgow.

Within 5 days I noticed a huge reduction in pain and tiredness and my mood improved. I haven't yet noticed any difference with the crohn"s disease or my psoriasis. I'm having to take it during the day as it interferes with my sleep, I get a little hyper. Other than that I haven't got any side effects. 

I feel better and virtually pain free for the first time in 8 years.

Your doctors are best people to advise on medication choices, I am sure they will be interested to hear about your experience, but they are also guided by NHS regulations in what they can prescribe.
