I attended NHS Forth Valley in early June to have a mole removed. My appointment was at the Ambulatory Care Unit. I was very quickly greeted by Staff Nurse Kirsty who then took me to the room where the procedure took place. She introduced me to Nurse Mary and then proceeded to explain clearly what would happen and all the necessary aftercare required (a leaflet with helpful information is also given).
The operation took around 20 minutes and I was made to feel so comfortable and assured with their care and chat from them to make me relax throughout. I hope Mary's hand has recovered from the squeezing I gave it when the anaesthetic was administered.
Before leaving I was given the relevant letter to take with me when I attend my local GP surgery to have stitches removed in 2 weeks time.
I cannot commend you both enough for your professionalism, care and friendliness during my visit. The service is excellent.
Thank you very much once again.
