A few days ago at 0457 hours Midwife Faye expertly delivered our beautiful baby.

Having had a very substandard service on the ward, we were terrified at the prospect of delivery. Having been rushed at the very last minute to the delivery ward, and without a team readily available to assist us, Faye stepped in and stepped up. 

She immediately recognised that our baby's heart rate was half of what it should have been and that he needed to be delivered NOW! Faye took control of the situation and delivered him in the most professional manner in challenging circumstances almost single-handedly. 

My partner doesn’t fully recollect the delivery, but she does remember Faye she everything she did and said. 

I have no doubt that if Faye hadn’t of taken over and stepped in when she did, our son wouldn’t be the healthy and happy boy he now is. 

Faye, you’ll forever be our hero and we’ll make sure our son knows just how great you were on the early hours of that morning in June!

Thank you very much for your amazing feedback about our Midwife Faye who helped to deliver your baby boy recently. I am so pleased that Faye handled the birth of your son so well and that you have a happy and healthy little boy.

We will of course ensure your very kind words are shared with Faye so that she knows just how appreciated she is.
