from the moment I walked into the Shires until the moment I left ,which was the same day, I was treated like a VIP, from being admitted, shown to my room, explanation of what to expect and what is going to happen by the admission nurse, visit from surgeon ,anaesthetist, physio . The men who collected me for my operation, were caring and chatted while we were walking to the theatre and then when they bought me back to my room. nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who attended me during my stay. another visit from the surgeon and anaesthetist to explain how the operation went and date of my follow up.

can not praise the hospital and it's staff for their dedication, warmth and care.
