"Endoscopy Unit"

I had an appointment with the Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit at the South Bristol

Hospital.

The procedure and operation of my Gastroscopy, is to place a narrow tube and camera down to your digestive organs to have a look to find problems.(I have been suffering with bad indigestion and the problem had got worse.) It is not a very pleasant experience but it is the only way to see exactly what is going on and the treatment required to resolve the problem.

However,the skill and dedicated team of nurses and doctors was superb. They made me feel

relaxed and comfortable and where finished within 10 minutes of the procedure.

The staff and facilities are great and I would highly recommend to anyone.
